Freya Greenwood (they/them) is an enigmatic artist, poet, and wanderer in the fourth dimension. An Artificer of many different things, their main focus is zines and self publishing.They have written 18 zines on various topics, including mental health, being transgender, queerness, magic, and art. You can read those zines on their Itch.ioOutside of making zines, Freya enjoys watching the Golden Girls, making jewelry, and doing witchcraft. They are a devotee of Hekate and that informs a lot of their practices.Their work is deeply vulnerable, colourful, and vibrant, with an emphasis on personal sovereignty. They are inspired by many things but their main influences is 90s Riot Grrrl culture, the works of Gustav Klimt, and the anime Revolutionary Girl UtenaThey currently live on unceded Anishnawbe, Haudenosaunee, and Neutral Peoples land.

Who is Freya Greenwood?

Freya Greenwood is the collective name of a group of individuals living in the same body.We have around 9 members who are static and unchanging. Some are human, some are not, our age varies.Our system presents its gender as being genderfluid, agender, and femme presenting.Our system presents its orientation as queer, bisexual, and on the aromantic and asexual spectrum.Our bodies age is that of a 28 year old human, but our system members ages vary from small child to ageless.We are Pagan, and are in a Pact with the Goddess Hekate, and the Folkloric Devil. Our faith is heavily based in Animism, and it’s a large part of our lives. We practice Witchcraft, Divination (tarot, oracle, bones), and Astrology. We were born during the heliacal rising of Spica, the Wheat Spike. We also have a personal faith based apocrypha that we are writing.We are in a dedicated long term relationship, are part of a polycule, and have several queer platonic partners. We are open to new relationships on a case by case basis.In our physical lives, we might tell a close friend that we are plural if it came up in a conversation. Online we are pretty open about it, but we don’t tell people unless it comes up in conversation.

I am the public face of the system! I love Doctor Who, Zines, and Witchcraft (they’re my special interests) I’ve become quite outgoing though I am still pretty shy around people. Romana

I am the main fronter around people we trust, and I am a fictive of Romanadvoratrelundar from Doctor Who. You will mostly see me around online, or in person if we are close. I enjoy many different things, but my favourite thing right now is the game Stardew Valley. I am also an artist, and make zines with my other headfriends.Three songs that would describe me would be:

Harley

The main system protector, I usually come out when we are out around town as protection, and outer defence.I also love video games, mostly for the beating the shit outta people factor, but I like arcade games like Terraria, and Wobbledogs.As main system protector, my job is to keep everyone safe – if I am out chances are something is wrong. Creacher

Is our familiar spirit who was gifted to us by our guardians. Creacher, an Hour known as The Beach Comber is a crow who enjoys collecting shiny things and eating gummy worms.They are very perceptive and guide us during bone readings to help search for the right answers to your questions.The genre that would most describe Creacher would be dungeon synth, with our favourite artist being Fogweaver on Bandcamp.

What terms do we go by?
We all refer to ourselves as our Secret Society, that we are system-mates, and a family, as well as a collective. Please do not refer to us as Alters.Who will I be interacting with the most?
You will be most likely interacting with Romana, or Freya, depending on the situation.What should people do if they don’t know who’s in the front?
Mind your business, or ask nicely. We are most likely to answer honestly, but this question is often hard to answer due to the nature of our plurality. We get blendy sometimes and it’s hard to tell whose who. If that happens we will let you know.We can all hear each other pretty well, so our conversations will be shared with the Council. If you are wanting to speak with a specific person, feel free to ask but they might refuse depending on the situation.

Readings

I will read the bones for you, this involves focusing on your energy and scattering them intuitively. They are then interpreted and any further questions are answered and clarification is given.I provide photographs of your reading for context as well. A written report of your reading is available on request.My sessions usually last about an hour and includes any follow up questions regarding the reading.Firstly, we discuss the type of reading you will be receiving - general or more focused, yes or no, there’s nothing the bones won’t answer.I have my specialties in reading with a focus on crossed conditions, curses, and ancestor work. I also do readings on the spirits surrounding an individual, and can often detect things that are underlying regarding communication and oaths.
