I recently did a tour of my Grimoires/Junk Journals over on YouTube, for some friends in the PathandPractice Discord server! I am also gonna be running a Grimoire Club in the server, to be determined when! I've been actively keeping a grimoire since 2019, and it forms the bulk of my art magic process; I view grimoire work as a meditation in itself, as well as a sort of occult scrapbook to record things. I have several different codices as well as a catch all binder in a5 sizing.
I am currently on my third, which I made myself out of cardboard, and thrifted fabrics, papers, and ephemera. It is the one with the moth on the cover. I made it earlier this year after finishing my second one last year and taking a short break. Grimoire work is so important for my practice, as it allows me to meditate on my spirits, the workings I do, as well as experiment with crafts, a thing which I love a bit too much.
Lately, I've been working on a new zine called A Journey to the Grove - a sort of sequel to my zine Venom + Vine, but more refined, as my practice has grown a lot within the past year since I've written it (that's why I like to do so many of these zines, because I am always growing and learning)!
This zine, explores Our Lady Beneath, Faeries, The Land (bioregional) as a concept, and how important being multi-racial is to me. I talk about the spirits I consort with, as well as wax poetic about Witchcraft, as always. Also featured is my Hagstone Apocrypha - a litany to the Threshold, and the hole run through by water.
There is some poignant passages I've written about how it feels to be a mongrel, a perpetual outsider in my own skin, and someone who walks the threshold. I'll share a snippet here, but the rest is for you to read and discover.

The Land accepts them as her own, for even a tradition of the land can learn to love someone who comes from somewhere else. As long as mutual love and respect is given, balance is achievable."
