Bone Readings — Consultation & Guidance
I'll have you focus on what you're bringing - your question, your situation, whatever is on your mind. I'll scatter the bones and let them land where they want. I don't move them after they fall. How they land is how they meant to land.
I read what's there. I'm looking at which bones came up, where they fell in relation to each other, what patterns they're making. I can pick up curses, but my favourite workings to do have to do with ancestor work, and the spirits moving around you. I can feel things about communication and oaths that you might not have put words to yet. If something's hiding underneath, I'll find it. I am particularly good at working the crossroads and the intersection between decision and physical reality.
I photograph the layout so you have a record of it. As I'm reading, I talk through what I'm seeing, and you can ask questions as we go. Once we've gone through the initial layout, I can throw again for clarifications if something needs more detail.
Afterwards I'll send you a write-up of what came through and what I recommended, so you don't have to remember everything.
How it works
First, I need to know about you. What you practice, what your goals are, what's working and what's not. It gives me a sense of where to aim.
Then we talk about what to do about it. I'll write up what came through and give you working recommendations. Sometimes that's a bath you do a few times over the month. Sometimes it's a ritual direction to head in. If a physical item would help, I can make it custom for you or walk you through making it yourself.
Sessions
A session usually runs about an hour, including follow-up questions. How many sessions you need depends on you - some people need one to get unstuck, others want to check in over time and build momentum. We play it by ear.
Payment
This work falls in the Faery Doctoring realm - people come to me for counsel and give what they can. I'm not setting a fixed price right now. If you need the work and don't have much to offer, that's okay. If you have abundance, your offering helps me keep doing this for others. We'll talk about it before we start.
What this isn't
I'm not a therapist. I can't provide mental health support - that's not what this is, and I'll be upfront about that. What I offer is guidance for your magical practice. If what you need is clinical help, I'll point you somewhere that can provide it.
